Expert Urology.
Clear Decisions.
Healthier Future.

Specialising in advanced urology and prostate care, Mr Collins carefully integrates evidence, experience, and context, guiding patients toward informed, confident decisions: never rushed, never generic.

PHILOSOPHY: SCIENCE & ART

My journey began in 1997. Over the course of three decades, I have learned that medicine is a rigorous science, but healing is a delicate art.

Having conducted MD research at Edinburgh University and the Mayo Clinic, I view every diagnosis – from PSA interpretation to advanced cancer – as a unique biological puzzle.

My role is to provide the One Source of Truth,’ ensuring data leads to the most measured intervention.

The traditional patient-doctor bond: one built on trust, time, and genuine understanding, remains the cornerstone of my practice. In an era of rapid medicine, I believe the most strategic advantage a patient can have is a surgeon who listens.

Combining rigorous scientific evidence with compassionate, patient-centred care across the full spectrum of urological conditions.

Uro-oncology

Specialist diagnosis and management of urological cancers, with a focus on accurate staging, risk-stratified treatment planning, and long-term surveillance.

Clinical Areas of Expertise

  • Active surveillance for low-risk prostate cancer
  • Hormone therapy and bone health management
  • Advanced prostate cancer diagnostics and staging

Prostate Cancer

Assessment and management of prostate cancer across all risk groups.

Bladder Cancer

Diagnosis and treatment of non-muscle-invasive and muscle-invasive bladder cancer.

Kidney Cancer

Evaluation and management of renal tumours, including incidental findings, imaging-based risk assessment

Testicular Cancer

Prompt assessment and management of testicular tumours, with emphasis on early diagnosis, staging, and coordination.

General Urology

Comprehensive management of non-cancer urological conditions affecting urinary function, prostate health, and quality of life in men and women.

Prostate Enlargement (BPH)

Assessment and treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia symptoms & size

Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS)

Investigation of urinary frequency, urgency, nocturia, and weak stream

Blood in the Urine (Haematuria)

Structured evaluation of visible and non-visible haematuria

Prostatitis

Diagnosis & management of acute/chronic prostatitis, including bacterial/ inflammatory subtypes.

Urinary Incontinence

Assessment of stress, urge, and mixed urinary incontinence.

Interstitial Cystitis

Evaluation of chronic bladder pain and urinary symptoms where infection and other causes have been excluded

PSA & Prostate Screening

Advanced interpretation of PSA testing within a risk-based framework, supporting informed decision-making and appropriate investigation.

PSA, Free PSA, PSA density

Contextual interpretation of PSA results, incorporating age, prostate volume, and PSA derivatives to improve diagnostic accuracy.

When PSA is not cancer?

Explanation of benign and non-malignant causes of PSA elevation, including infection, inflammation, and prostate enlargement.

When further tests are needed?

Guidance on when imaging or biopsy is appropriate, based on PSA trends, risk assessment, and clinical findings.

Stockholm3

Use of advanced biomarker-based risk assessment to refine prostate cancer detection and reduce unnecessary biopsies.

MRI-Guided Prostate Biopsy

Targeted prostate biopsy using MRI findings to improve cancer detection while reducing unnecessary sampling.

Clinical Judgement Over Reflex

Thirty years in urology teaches you that medicine is about nuance, not just numbers. This is a deliberate, analytical approach designed to filter the noise and focus on what is clinically significant.

01
01 - Clinical Discernment

We look beyond the raw data. Whether it is a blood result or a physical symptom, we analyze the trends and the individual’s baseline to understand the biology before we act.

02
02 - Risk Assessment

Not every finding requires a procedure. We use refined risk-modelling to separate cases that demand intervention from those that are best managed with vigilant observation.

03
03 - Diagnostic Mapping

High-resolution imaging provides the necessary roadmap. Expert interpretation allows us to map the anatomy with precision, ensuring that any subsequent steps are guided by clear evidence.

04
04 - Targeted Investigation

If a biopsy or further sampling is required, it is done with surgical intent. We use advanced techniques to maximize accuracy while minimizing patient impact.

05
05 - Strategic Consensus

The conclusion is a dialogue, not a directive. We weigh the clinical findings against your personal priorities to reach a shared decision on the best way forward.

Eliminating the "wait and see" anxiety through better data.

Your Biology is Unique. Your Plan Should Be Too.
